Alhaji Alhasan worked at the then Graphic Corporation now Graphic Communications Group from 1972 to 1982 and was Chairman of Graphic Workers Union of ICU. He covered several incidences in Libya in 1999, United States with the Chief Imam's Delegation and Pilgrimage to Mecca when he was with the Graphic.
From there, he worked with the Indonesian Embassy in Nigeria with accreditation to Ghana and other West African countries. He also worked with the CDD Coalition of Domestic Election Observers where he was regional coordinator and participated in the observer of elections and strategic observer of elections and peace making course at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Centre.
He was Editor of ‘the Humanitarian’, a paper of the Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian Services. He is currently the Executive Director of Eanfo World for sustainable development and a member of the Chief Imam's Educational Fund.
He is a Member of the Federation of Muslim Councils (FMC) of Ghana from where he joined PIAC on the ticket of the FMC. He is in charge of Communications at the FMC. He writes on several subjects and is an ardent commentary reporter both online and in newspapers.
