Francis Andah
Head, Finance Directorate
Francis Andah is a distinguished Chartered Accountant and Finance Professional with expertise in public financial management, enterprise risk management, and internal auditing. He holds an MBA in Accounting & Finance and BSc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), and multiple post-chartered diplomas in Enterprise Risk Management, Advanced Business Analytics, and Public Financial Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
With over a decade of experience in financial leadership, Francis currently serves as the Deputy Director Finance, Heading the Finance Directorate at the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC), where he oversees budgeting, financial reporting, risk assessment, and strategic fiscal planning.
Prior to joining PIAC, he held finance roles at the Ghana Law Reform Commission, where he led initiatives to enhance financial governance, develop internal controls, and implement a robust staff welfare program.
Francis is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM). He has undergone specialized training in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), procurement best practices, and job evaluation & salary structuring.
His core focus at PIAC is to:
Establish a fluid investor relationship with stakeholders
Ensure proficient reporting, treasury management and audit
To set internal control systems to purge the system for the smooth running of the company
