Gloria Dami Baah is a Chartered Accountant and a seasoned Internal Auditor with extensive experience in financial management, risk assessment, and audit compliance within both public and private sectors. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance from GIMPA and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast, along with professional certifications, including a Post Chartered Diploma in Forensic Auditing and a Professional Diploma in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
With a career spanning over two decades, Gloria has served in various leadership capacities, including Head of accounts and ESPV Coordinator and currently holding the position of Deputy Director, Operations at the Internal Audit Agency. She also serves as the Internal Auditor for the Public Interest & Accountability Committee (PIAC), ensuring regulatory compliance and financial integrity. Her expertise includes risk-based auditing, financial oversight, and strategic internal control mechanisms.
Throughout her career, Gloria has played a crucial role in policy implementation, audit, quality assurance, and capacity building for Audit Committees and Internal Auditors across multiple government institutions and agencies. She has also contributed significantly to Ghana’s public sector by chairing and serving on audit committees for organizations such as the Department of Feeder Roads, Zongo Development Fund, Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ghana Post Company Limited, and the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
